DRUtES GUI
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the DRUtES web interface handles information when you sign in, configure a model, run a simulation, and download its files.
Information we receive
DRUtES GUI uses Google OpenID Connect for authentication. When you sign in, Google provides the application with basic account information used to identify your workspace, including your name and email address. The application does not receive your Google password.
How the information is used
Your account information is used only to:
- authenticate you and maintain your signed-in session;
- create a separate server-side workspace for your account;
- associate simulation projects with their owner; and
- display your account name and email address in the interface.
Project data
Project names, configuration files, uploaded boundary-condition data, simulation logs, and model output files are stored on the DRUtES server inside the workspace associated with your account. These files are used to configure and run DRUtES and to provide the downloads requested in the interface.
Cookies and authentication
The application uses an authentication session cookie so that it can recognise you during a signed-in session. Google processes the sign-in according to Google's own privacy terms. DRUtES GUI does not use your Google account to access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, or other Google services.
Sharing and sale of data
DRUtES does not sell personal information. Account and project data are not shared with third parties for advertising. Information may be processed by Google as the authentication provider and by authorised server administrators when necessary to operate, secure, or troubleshoot the service, or when disclosure is required by law.
Retention and deletion
Account-associated project files remain on the server so that projects can be reopened in a later session. To request deletion of your account workspace and its projects, contact the address below from the Google account used with DRUtES. Operational backups, if present, may retain a copy for a limited period until the backup cycle expires.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to restrict access to user workspaces and OAuth credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; users should avoid uploading unnecessary personal or confidential information in simulation input files.
Contact
Questions, access requests, and deletion requests can be sent to michalkuraz@gmail.com.
